Hey there!  Hope we're all ok! We have come up with a plan! We were thinking of producing a wee book for people at the conference to look at during or after we do our talk. This basically needs to show how great we are, what we do. We need YOU to do the following to make this possible: - Offer your poems
- Produce comments
- Offer life/coming out stories, or over coming disability stories
- Give Ideas of posts we could print out to add to the collection
- fund raising ideas
- offer members photographs
- and anything else you can think of

Im looking foward to putting this all together!! If you hve any ideas then please let me know!! It can be anything really .. stuff that Fran mentioned or other stuff.
Im currently looking for some fund rasing ideas, im going to sell some of my crafts and we are having fun playing about with ideas of sloguns to put on Teeeee shirts!!
I wil have more on this later!!! ;D ;D

lol ... look!! we managed to black mail some one in to helping!! ... basicly we just want to be able to show people what G.L.A.D is like and all about. So all poems and statments and sooooo on will be v. v. v. welcome!!! ;D
Write about what you like Gem, you might want to pick some of your other poems out to use or you might want to write some about what you think about G.L.A.D.

Please comment guys... there are loads of young disabled people coming as well as 'professionals' so please come and challenge the DRC!!!!

sorry ive not been about to attemp at helping you hun but you know what its like!!! lol
you can use anything ive given you or posted i dont mind in the least! and i hope to speak to you soon so maybe i can give you a hand hun??
t shirts are a brill idea tho!! and a book of all our poems is cool too, i also think that maybe a questionaire to the members might get a better resonse?? just an idea hun

Ok people, seen as even though jo works her cute little arse off *mmm* and no one is really giving much back. Tonight I'm gonna start work on the book and start choosing stuff to go in it. u can use ne of me poems! im still tryin 2 write a poem especially 4 u 2 take but its v hard! also i think our list of fit ppl post wud b a wicked 1 2 take!!
How bout taking the meet and greet posts 2 show how many members r part of glad and how they r made 2 feel so welcome by u guys?

Well I've told you that your very welcome to use anything I have posted and I did write 2 poems just for you (Jo and Fran0 so I really hope they are of help?

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been around. Got a new job and it's been taking most my time. I would like to help in whatever way I can. I hate thinking that all the work's left to Jo and Fran. Of course you're welcome to use anything I've ever posted. I'll look and see if I have any stories or poems that would be of any use. |
