Well, it's about time I got here. Jo told me about this site eons ago but I've been burried alive in homework for the past couple of weeks. So, for those who don't know me, my name's Kathy, I live in the US, in Oregon. I'm 23, lesbian, visually impaired, and also have microscopic colitis. Hell of an introduction eh? LOL! Oh well, I just have to go with Popeye and say, "I am, what I am". Hey Fran! Nice to meet ya, I've heard lots about you from Jo. love to all, Kathy

Hi guys! Yes, the homework is rather depressing. What's worse, is I don't get the summer off, cause the graduate program I'm in actually started today. Summer session ends in August. I can not wait for a break! Don't worry Fran, I've only heard good things about you. 8) Kathy

Hey Fran, I do feel a bit like I'm stuck in a nightmare sometimes. I'm all finished with my B.S. in psychology on Sunday, which is when I'll be graduating, a really torterous ritual we Americans like to put each other through. But, I've also already started my graduate program in early intervention/ early childhood special education. I won't be done with that for two years or so. I"m not sure why I do this to myself, I just seem to be addicted to school. What a wacko! ;D What are you studing Fran? What is A2, is that a level or something? I have to say, I know nothing about your guys' educational system. As if George W. wasn't a big enough embarassment to our country... love, Kathy

Yer, the government stupidly brought in this new system of kinda spliting A'levels into two (you may not understand that either). Its split over 2 years, in the first year you're suposed to do lots of different subjects to "expand" your knowledge. Then in the 2nd year you drop 1 or 2 subjects to "develop" that knowledge. Personally I didn't take advantange of this, because I'm lazy (nah, i'm not really, i'm just v.busy), and I only took 2 subjects, and will only do 2 subject next year! hehe! ;D Its all a load of poo really!

uh... ok, sounds like the same poo different system I guess. I've been in school for 5 years which is pretty average. Does this mean you only have one year left of school? That'd be nice. I can imagine you're busy, Jo says you swim for England? Or something along those lines? Kathy

LOL! Funnily enough running away to the UK would be my preffered plans, but I'm afraid the whole money issue as well as courage, or lack there of is quite the deterant. I'll just keep hoping that I win the lottery and that the wizard gives me some courage. Kathy
