Chocolate may help treat cough symptoms Chocolate could hold the key for future cough treatments, results of a UK study suggest.
Researchers from the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London conducted a small study to find out whether a chemical found in chocolate, called theobromine, could help prevent or treat coughs.
Now does that sound like the best news ever!!!!!!!!!!
Ok so this has not yet been proven but there are studies happening now! so in time we could be using it as the best excuse to eat chocolate !!!!!yipee!!! Lts of love Taz xxxxxxxxxxx

Nice one ! Keep us posted Taz . Don't forget to brush your toothypegs after tho (or if you have v.low energy levelds/muscle/joint pain like me, chew gum/eat an apple, it's supposed to be almost as good). I say this, coz I recently had an x-ray which showed my first cavity. Now I have to have an amalgam (mercury) filling. Mercury is one of the most toxic substances known to humanity, but hey, " it's o.k!" say dentists because no study has proved it to be dangerous when used in fillings. But no study has proved it to be safe either. The cheif adviser to the WHO (no, not the band, the World Health Organisation) on merccury safety has stated: "there is NO safe level of mercury". So I plan to insist on a mercury -free filling (well it's worth a try, mercury fillings have often been the cause of a marked decline in the ability levels of M.E patients (among others). Anyone interested to know more, e-mail me (see profile). MERCURY-JUST SAY NO!
