Dyslexia
If you suffer from Dyslexia And words don’t mean a thing And you want some advice They ask you to write Instead of giving them a ring
Maybe writing the address Is some form of test A kind of writing on the wall But if you fail They won’t get the mail And won’t know you written at all

Im not really sure who wrote that poem, i stole of pff BRAINFOG. I have knowen i have been dyslexic for ages now, think i was about erm .. 8?? Any way, i had HUGE problems at school im sorry to say. At Junior school they thought i needed to see a phycologist, when my mum said i didnt she desided i should see an Ed phyc who diognosed me with Dyslexia. The school then refused to aknolage this and didnt get me any help at all. I went to a secondry school that was 'intergrated' so disabled student and people with learning disabilitys were in a 'mian streem' school. We really thought i would get lots of help, some one in my lessons to help with with the reading and writing and that .. but i didnt. No help at all. They refused to give me extra time in my exams and in the end i just didnt bother sitting many of them. I went to college for a bit and they were really good, i got a reader and writing in my exams to help me out and extra maths and engish lessons to help me with my corse work. Unfortunatly im too ill to go to collge at the moment so im stuck again!! But hay ho!! Jo xx

I took a class in sign language last term too. It was lots of fun even though it was a pain in the neck to get things set up so I could actually see what the teacher was doing. It was worth it though.

Well Fran finishes scholl this time next year, so i would hope if we are going we would be moveing about now ... or around this time. But its still not set in stone that i would stay if my mum does get the job ... so i might have to go live in Hull for a bit or somthing. So thats why i might not be around, if you see what i mean!
