Hiya taz, i know how pooty things have been lately ... its bloomin hard work being ill AND having to get services at the same time. Now i know we have talked about this already but i thought i would post it all in here so other people might be able to copy the advice if they need to.
THe first thing i would sugest is a social worker, they can get you better access to services. You just have to phone your local social services to get hold of a social worker. They will be alocated to you and then you will meet do discus a care plan.
I would look in to benefits, you might be elagable for more/ new benefits and you should ALWAYS let them know if your situations changed ... specially if its for the worse as you might be able to get more money.
Talk to your GP, if they are no good .. change! Word of mouth is often very reliable so just ask around for a good doctor. Ask them to help you gain assess to services too, may be some physio, or an OT, any hospital appointments you may need or to get an assessmesnt for your own wheel chair.
Try and get an OT assessment as soon as possible, if mobility or impearments get worse you might be able to get addaptions that help you get about better. Forinstance a shower stool or addaptions in the kitchen. If you own your own home the council have to put adaptions on for free, if you have a scial worker they will be able to help you with this.
If you can think od anything i have missed out on .. as no dought i have ... add it at the bottom Good luck Taz, and to any one who is going though changes. Jo xx

taz, i totally agree with what jo says. i would say, also, if you're working access to work (your local job centre will have their number) can provide equipment, like wheelchairs. They can also provide a support worker, for some of your working day. Good luck matey Gemma x
