When I became disabled it annoyed me that people assumed I wouldn't have relationships anymore - let alone any with girls. I felt really alone and I even started to believe that maybe because I was disabled I should't be having theses feelings. If it wasn't for GLAD I would probably still feel that way.

GLAD is full of amazing, caring and supportive people who help each other. We are able to understand each other because we share the same things in common, we all gay and have a disability. I have made so many friends, I no longer feel alone in my situation.

With the help of my new friends, I have been able to build and maintain a relationship of my own. I would never have had the courage to do this on my own, and I can always go to anyone on GLAD for help and advice when I'm having women troubles!! I could never talk to any of my friends or family about such issues because they simply wouldn't understand.

GLAD is definatly an important part of my life. Without it I think I would still feel isolated and I wouldn't have the wonderful girlfriend that I have now!

BIG shout out and HUGE thankyou to Joey and fran for creating such a wicked, friendly place! ;D
